Introducing the Autodesk Global Use Subscription Benefit

What does that mean for me? Wherever you go, your Autodesk Software can go too.

From 13th May 2022, Autodesk users will have the freedom to use their software without being restricted by country of purchase.

Thanks to the new Standard and Premium Plan Subscription Benefit, all named user subscriptions can be assigned to any user, in any approved country.

Whether it’s working remotely or for a company based further afield, location shouldn’t be a restriction in a digital world. Having access to your Autodesk software, regardless of where you use it, is vital in a global economy.

“This subscription benefit is great because it empowers people to work anywhere, which is not only beneficial for productivity but also for improving the work-life balance of employees. Now we can more easily choose where we work, without worrying about software restrictions.”

Hugo Abreu, Digital Construction Delivery Manager, Pentagon Solutions.

The Global Use Benefit also means that organisations can manage their licenses more effectively as users can be assigned across countries, without the need for additional accounts.

The Technical Details

·        Named user subscriptions purchased in non-approved countries must only be used in the country of purchase or in another non-approved country as well as during travel in up to 90 days within a 12-month period.

·        Please note, that the new Global Use Rights only is eligible for new subscriptions (named users) and renewals purchased on and after 13th May 2022. Existing subscriptions will continue with the “old” terms & conditions until next renewal.
