Download Previous Versions of Autodesk Software

Accessing Previous Versions of Autodesk Software: A Step-by-Step Guide for Subscription Users

As a paid subscription user, you have access to up to 5 years version of any of the Autodesk software you have paid for. There are a few different ways to access them depending on what year you want or need.

For up to 3 years back from the current year, software can be accessed from your Autodesk manage account.

  • Sign in to Autodesk Account at manage.autodesk.com.
  • Under All Products and Services, find your product.
  • In the product tile, click the current version and select a previous version.
  • Download your product

To get 4-5 years previous version of the software you have to go through Autodesk Assistant. This is located on the bottom right hand side of your screen when you can logged into your Autodesk manage account.

Once in the Autodesk Assistant, take the following steps to get the previous years:

  • Click Post-purchase support
  • Click Downloads
  • Click Download software
  • Click Find a product download
  • Type in the software and year you want to download
  • Installer files will then be ready to download to your machine

To download a previous version of Autodesk software, you don’t have to uninstall the current version to download and install a previous version.
