About Us

We are an independently owned software solutions company that was started back in March 2003. We have grown steadily since then, moving from our original offices in north Belfast to our current home on Airport Road in July 2008.

Central to our success over those years has been our strong customer care ethos. This, in combination with our unrivalled industry experience, ensures our customers have a risk free experience when purchasing their businesses software solutions.

Whether it’s CAD, GI data or management software you are looking for, all our core staff have spent considerable time within those industries and fully understand what it is you need from your software and more importantly what more you can get from it.

All three of our directors (each an engineering graduate from a local university) have close to 20 years experience within this industry and any recommendations made are focused on what’s good for your business and not what’s best for our sales quota’s.

Meet the Team

Eamon Morgan

Managing Director

Eamon ensures the sales business runs smoothly and most importantly, that customers are satisfied.

After he finished his Engineering Degree in Jordanstown (UUJ) Eamon started working in BIC Systems as an Applications Engineer. After several years and several promotions to Business Unit Manager Eamon joined CADCO another well known company within the technologies arena. He headed up their Belfast office and then, after 3 years decided to “paddle his own boat” and so created Pentagon Solutions Ltd.

During his time within the industry Eamon has been involved with many major contracts throughout Ireland based around Engineering CAD Products and Engineering Management Tools.

Brendan Greene

Technical Director

Brendan ensures all major projects are delivered on time and of course within budget.

He graduated from Queens University with a Civil Engineering Degree and started in BIC Systems very shortly afterwards, (actually only two weeks afterwards). Brendan was an applications engineer who worked his way up to engineering manager.

Brendan joined CADCO as a Document Management Consultant and after several years and several major projects decided to help Eamon “paddle his own boat” in Pentagon.

Chris McVicker

Operations Director

Chris ensures that the company runs smoothly at an operations level.

After graduating from Queens with his Aeronautical Degree Chris started in BIC Systems. He was a applications engineer for the Mechanical market in all Ireland and when he left, he was the Senior mechanical engineer for that territory.

Chris started in CADCO as a senior applications Engineer and after several projects, seminars, shows and events decided to help Eamon and Brendan “paddle that boat”.
