Authorisations and Serial Numbers

For subscription customers your serial number may not appear on your box when the product is shipped to you. This is because you have a contract number with Autodesk. Depending on your product range you may have several group id’s under this number as well. It is important before installing the new 2006 software that the correct number is used. To check your contract details logon to the subscription website click here.

The primary account holder will have been allocated a login (e-mail address) and password for the site when subscription was started. It is important to keep this information. It is also advisable for that account holder to set up other users to have access to the site in their absence.

Under the Subscription Administration of the site you can:

• Manage Users
• Co-ordinate Users
• View Coverage Reports
• View Renewal Reports

By accessing the view coverage report you can view all the contracts your company has. These will provide the appropriate groups under the contracts and thus the relevant serial numbers

When authorising a product if you have an internet connection it should automatically allow the product to be authorised as shown below. This may not work on all occasions depending on number of authorisations serve restrictions etc.

You can also authorise your products on-line, fax or e-mail Autodesk. They will require the following:

  • Registered Name
  • Company Name
  • Company Address
  • Company Telephone
  • Company E-mail
  • Serial Number/Group
  • id for subscription
  • Request Code.

Contact for authorisation is as follows:

E-mail: Authcodes.neu@autodesk.com
Web: https://register.autodesk.com
Fax: +41-32-723-9169

Sometimes the web authorisation will not work depending on the number of times you have tried to authorise a product. In Pentagon Solutions Experience the fast method is via e-mail. Always keep a record of your Serial Numbers and do not authorise more products than you have licenses as this will be in breach of your license agreement.

DVD Software

Some of Autodesk’s products are now shipping in DVD format such as ADT 2006 or Inventor 10. If you require a CD version of the software free of charge please visit:

www.autodeskstore.com

Enter your details to receive this. The software should be sent out within 3 working days.
